Hey all, thought it was be a good idea to set up a blog to discuss idea's/thoughts away from rehearsals etc. Let's keep this hush hush though, we don't want anyone stealing our ideas :D
Hey can you add us on? If you go to customise...then settings...then permissions...then add authors - add our email addresses the we will be able to post pictures, blogs etc.
Hi all, sorry for not being able to attend today i hope this works!! it wont let me post it as a blog. Ive had an idea for our name just thought id share it see what you think...i know its a long way off for us to choose our name but oh well :) 'Innovation Theatre Company' taadaaaa! haha as innovation means the entire process of generating and applying creative ideas to a specific context...this being human trafficking. Let me know your thoughts! im open to negative comments haha. I'l post my ideas later on as im not sure if im allowed to be on my phone now! xxx
Paul said we can have the room MA208 on Monday evenings so long as we're quiet as he's teaching Scenography 2 next door...other than that I'm free tuesday mornings - 4pm and I am free on Thursdays but would like to have one day off a week to focus on getting designs done. I'm fairly flexible to be honest time wise so let me know when you can rehearse and I'll be there. It's a shame we couldn't rehearse today - we need to catch up.
Other than that I had an idea of a not so much story as plot devise. So we have the box and no one knows what it is for and for some reason I have the image in my head of Michaela being the victim leading to death and the box. What if Micheala creates an imaginary world for herself where she is strong and important and loved and we see her switch between the reality and the dream world she creates. This would give the rest of you the options to change characters and also have the juxtaposition you all want. This is only a suggestion if you hate the idea we'll dismiss it and move on.
Would be great to see you all before wednesday so we can get a good start to the week.

above is a link i found on wolf about marketing our production. First bunch of slides are a bit confusing but the last few slides have some interesting information and advice in them.
